Claire is an ultra-spontaneous creative whose photography has taken her everywhere.
Born and raised in Central Virginia, Claire has been in love with taking photos since she was eight, when her dad helped her learn her way around her first camera. She discovered a love for travel and new experiences, which led her to start professionally shooting weddings in late 2017.

alyssa
Alyssa, owner of Althea Weddings, is a people-loving extrovert who is passionate about helping people feel comfortable and seen on their wedding day.
Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, Alyssa has been shooting weddings and sessions throughout the US since 2019. Over the past four years, she’s shot over 100 weddings. Her work is heavily influenced by movies, fashion and celebrity weddings, which give her photos a distinct air of glamor and elegance.

Mary is a documentary-style photographer who aims to capture unique and artful images.
Since 2017 Mary has photographed over 150 weddings, capturing true-to-life images that are one-of-a-kind and documentary in style. She is passionate about providing a non-judgemental, safe space for couples, and makes sure that each moment depicts more than just the look of a wedding.

Gabrielle is a natural caretaker who has an exceptional eye for details.
Since she joined the team, Gabrielle has proven a natural at taking care of both Althea’s clients and photographers. She reads minds and offers support, all while discreetly capturing behind-the-scenes content. More than anything else, she loves catching a glimpse of client’s stories — learning how they met and hearing memories from their families.
